My Initial intention is to make Macaron. I love it at first site when I visited Philippines. A correction, I LOVE to watch it as they are so cute and pretty. They are very colorful and it makes you want to buy it and taste it! Unfortunately, they are good to see but not really good to eat it as they are Super Duper Sweet! The recipe of macaron called for icing sugar so that you can see a smooth surface of the dessert with the pretty skirting around it! On top of that, a meringue-base filling will be added to it! A double sweet dessert for me as I’m a baker who will reduce sugar in every of my recipe!
Then I came across A Baked Creation. I love the whoopie pie pictures, then I get to learn her recipe. Whoopie pie is actually made of two round mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake with cream sandwich between them. Check it out the recipe below – the chocolate cake taste super bold and it blend well with whip cream.
When I was a little kids, Iwas very excited with Chinese New Year(CNY) arrival. I always wonder why CNY never falls on 1st of Jan on every year yet I need to wait for days (normally a month later according to Lunar Calendar). I do enjoy on the waiting period as most family will do housekeeping, making cookies /cake, new year shopping for new cloths and shoes (it does not apply to me since I go to college as I shop every week) >_<
To make this period more enjoyable, I came up with the CNY gift pack and I posted up the picture at facebook – tweethomemade, as a results I got 5 orders coming in.

Again, this is a wedding card for my best friend wedding. Instead of giving a Chinese traditional red packet, I created a card + money pocket. At the front, I stamp the bride and groom’s name where at the back, I stamp my name, my hubby’s name and my little daughter’s name.
Ming also gave me 10 table card holders and she requested to have all the girls name printed on it (whom attended her bridal shower). Back to Pink and Black bridal shower, I made a 3″ x 2″ metallic pink card with all the girls’ name printed on it and my initial thought was to decorate with BLACK flower as I only have flower puncher. Luckily, my chic friend from http://mylilcraftycorner.blogspot.com/ borrow me her butterfly puncher just in time for me to make this lively table name card. She also lend me her cutter bug to made the pockerdot embossed on the PINK Card.
Thanks Girl! Do you feel proud to see my creation? ^_^
